Today Hunter had a sick day. Sniffles, overnight fever and a bit of a cough equated to watching Cars and laying on the sofa under his blanket while I made a Persian Winter Stew. Once his energy level returned we worked together on updating our bulletin board in the playroom:

After nap we ventured outside to get some healing sun rays and as it cooled we came inside for some board games upstairs in the game room:

And now he's chatting himself to sleep in his top bunk...hopefully he'll drift into dreamland and feel better in the morning.
As much as I don't want my kids to suffer from sickness it was nice today to have an excuse to put my work on hold and just be with him.
