Fall Farm Update

A few posts back I mentioned our annual tradition of pumpkin-farm-romping when the weather cooled...well this past gorgeous Saturday was the day we packed up and journeyed OTP.
Our original plan was to visit Southern Belle but a last minute switcheroo led us back to last year's pick, Cagles Family Farm in Canton. In a quick 50 minutes we pulled up to the scenic backdrop of a corn field maze and pumpkin patch with the lingering aroma of fried apple pie and fresh popped popcorn wafting through the Fall air.
For families with young toddlers that won't be spending 3 hours navigating a maze or taking a tour of the farm (or going through a haunted barn - ack!), about $15 per parent gets you a Hayride *with marshmallows for the bonfire* and general admission (to use the bouncy equipment, etc).
The kids loved Cagles - picking pumpkins, petting baby goats, riding the ponies, bouncing on the "hay", the hayride down to the lake...all of it was new and wonderful to them.
I recommend checking it out while the weather cooperates. Here are a few pics from our trip:
