Neighborhood Business - Mandala Yoga Studio

Has anyone been to Mandala Studio? I received a postcard on my mailbox yesterday and noticed they are also running a Groupon special the next two day: $20 for FIVE classes!

We haven't posted much on neighborhood businesses yet but I think it's important for us to support them and keep our 'hood thriving.

Mandala offers all levels of Yoga, Tai Chi and even Zumba (woot woot) and they're so close - right by the Howell Mill Food Truck Park (after class snack?).

The instructor of the Yoga for Explorers class (the awesome parent + child yoga class on Saturdays that I blogged about here) is also teaching at Mandala and his first class is this Friday from 6-7pm. Here's a description from their website about his new class. Sounds like just what I need after a hectic week!

T.G.I.Friday Flow Yoga (all levels) with Paul

This class with challenge, strengthen and relax you. Prepare to focus on breathing, balance, and deepening the poses in a deliberate progression as we move through the class. The class will be completely accessible to those who are new to yoga, and will also include some intermediate to advanced work. Postures will be explained fully, complete with specific verbal guidance and hands-on adjustments. Modifications will also be incorporated to suit those working towards a deeper practice. Everyone is welcome to join us as we wind down the week at this stimulating yet restorative Friday class. Leave the work-week behind and start the week off on the right foot!

I love that Mandala is a serious Yoga studio that offers some dance classes too. Zumba and "Flirty Fitness" classes are both great cardio workouts that I am really going to need after all this Halloween candy! Who's down for some classes together?
