I'll admit I've been a bit cold & distant. I couldn't bear to think of you...all communal and dingy...no matter what my heart said. Sure, I wanted to pick up your ball and give it a whirl, but I have KIDS now and well, their health and safety come first.
Which is why I was ASTOUNDED at how *relatively* clean & incredibly family-friendly Midtown Bowl was this past Sunday. I haven't gone bowling since before my tots were born ... 1st because I didn't have time and 2nd when I did have time I was afraid (my OCD kicking in) they'd contract something contagious by stepping foot in a bowling alley.
Midtown Bowl was open, bright, clean and best of all FULL of other silly screaming dancing laughing crying running pouting toddlers after nap-time on Sunday.

I didn't bowl my best game (I have no best game) since I was partially distracted by the pandemonium but that's just life these days and it felt good to revisit an old friend --> the bowling alley and the pitcher of beer and bucket of wings (which OK I didn't order since I'm vegetarian now).
So although this may not seem AT ALL like the point I am trying to make but I discovered this weekend thanks to Stefanie & Family (and neighbor Gregg) that bowling can be added to the list of indoor activities we can do together as a family. Strike!
