Wonderful Weekend Weather Woot Woot

If you didn't have a chance to play outside today (you missed Piedmont's Green Market and the Atlantic Station BBQ Festival) then please do your family a favor and GO OUTSIDE tomorrow. The weather is gorgeous and crisp and energizing! Tomorrow's best bets for local family festival entertainment are either the Greek Festival or the Sunday in the Park event.
I've never been to either and we have chosen the latter because even though I am a huge Greek-loving gal (spanikopita-whaaat?), I have been pleading my hubs to agree to a family visit to Oakland Cemetery since we moved here two years ago and his interest has been lackluster at best. Since there is a special event, the weather is just begging for us to play outdoors and also his baseball/football/college/quidditch teams aren't playing, I *finally* won. Plus what better month than October to visit a historic cemetery. Ooooooooooohhhhhh! *a trillish ghost call*
I don't know if it's the Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins talking or what, but I am ecstatic about Halloween this year. Just as a reminder we are hosting our First Halloween Costume Exchange in the park on Wednesday, Oct 5th from 4-6pm. Please come and socialize, even if you don't have a costume to exchange. We'll have treat & eats with your meet & greets.
